Luxury Self Catering Cottages at Yewfield
Yewfield is delighted to offer luxury self-catering cottages set within the grounds of the main house, a short distance from Ambleside and Hawkshead.
Ideally located in the heart of the Lake District, the former coaching house has been thoughtfully converted into individual properties.
Like the rest of Yewfield, the cottages are strictly non smoking.
Swallows' Nest
Swallows' Nest has been carefully planned from the top floor of this lovely old coaching house and offers delightful accommodation for up to 4 people in picturesque rural surroundings.
With glimpses of Lake Windermere and the distant fells from the top floor windows, the famous Tarn Hows is just a short walk away with the managed grounds at Yewfield also available for you to explore.
Accommodation consists of a master bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, a small twin bedded room, fitted kitchen, living/dining room with living flame gas fire and a further bathroom.
The property has carefully chosen fabrics and colours and offers a high standard of comfort suitable for year round use. Beds have duvets with linen provided and will be made up for your arrival. The cottages at Yewfield offer pet friendly self catering accommodation, although please inform us well in advance if you will be bringing your dog.
Prices start from £317 - £546 for a 1/2 bedroom apartment for a 1 week stay.

This comfortable studio apartment has recently undergone some refurbishment and includes a king size double bed with ensuite bath and shower. There is also a kitchen with open plan dining area ideal for 2 people allowing comfortable self catering. The cottage benefits from TV with DVD player and wireless Internet access at the main house.
A seating/dining area on the private deck with French windows into the room completes the package.
Available for weekly lets with short break possibilities at certain times of the year, prices start from £260 - £450 per week.
